Application & Qualifications

With a simple application and approvals up to $1,500, SmartPay can be the lease-to-own option just right for your customer. Have them apply today!
Qualifications for a SmartPay Lease-to-Own transaction:

  • Customer must be present at the store
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid ID
  • SSN or ITIN
  • Bank account with a debit card or credit card

Application Approval

If approved, your customers can shop for their favorite devices and accessories with confidence. The SmartPay Lease-to-Own program helps take away some of that “sticker shock” and will allow your customer to pay for their devices and accessories over time with monthly lease-to-own payments.

Review & Sign

Help your customer complete their lease-to-own transaction... 
Your customer will review & sign their lease-to-own terms & conditions, and make their first payment. Future lease-to-own payments are due on a monthly basis on the date that the customer choose during the application process. Please have your customer check their SmartPay Terms and Conditions to review when future lease-to-own payments may be due. 

Lease-To-Own

Be sure to inform your customer that once they have completed all of their scheduled lease-to-own payments, THEY OWN THEIR ITEMS*! If they want to upgrade their phone before the end of their agreement, have them contact SmartPay to buy out of their lease-to-own agreement, open a new one, and upgrade to the device they want.

*Early purchase and buyout not available in MN, NJ, WI and WY.

ENROLL A NEW LOCATION

STEP 1:

Complete the SmartPay application and provide the following:

  • Business Information
  • Business License(s)
  • Bank Account or Voided Check
  • Photo ID
STEP 2:

Email the required documents to onboarding@smartpaylease.com

ADD OR CHANGE A LOCATION

STEP 1:

Log into your SmartPay Dashboard

STEP 2:

Select “Add Location”

STEP 3:

Complete the SmartPay application for the new location and provide the following:

  • Business Information
  • Business License(s)
  • Bank Account or Voided Check
  • Photo ID
