Why is there a SmartPay charge on my statement?
SmartPay (www.smartpaylease.com) is a lease-to-own payment plan that lets customers shop for devices, accessories and more. After beginning a lease, customers make scheduled payments to make it more affordable than paying full price upfront.
We work with leading wireless carriers and retailers to offer SmartPay lease-to-own in their stores and on their websites. SmartPay is available in 1,000s of locations across the U.S.

When you applied for the SmartPay lease-to-own payment plan either in-store or online, you agreed to have your advance lease-to-own payments automatically process via your debit card. You can log in to your SmartPay account here anytime to see your payment schedule and review your Terms and Conditions. To update your method of payment, contact SmartPay Customer Support at 925-298-6109.
If the amount charged on your debit card statement is different than your regularly scheduled lease-to-own payment, it is because an earlier scheduled lease-to-own payment failed. When a lease-to-own payment fails, our system will make further attempts to collect the repayment, either in full or in partial amounts until the full amount has been paid.
